Catherine Ornstein
Registered Speech and Language Therapist
I qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) at UCL, University of London in 1995. Since then I have worked as a children's speech and language therapist, running my own practice as well as working within the NHS in Herts and Beds.

I am a registered member of:-
-
The Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists (RCSLT)
-
The Health & Care Professionals Council (HCPC)
-
The Association of Speech & Language Therapists in Independent Practice (ASLTIP).
-
I have enhanced CRB checks and my details are on the CRB update service.

I undertake regular supervision and professional training. I am obliged to carry out Continued Professional Development (CPD) annually in order to register and practice as a Registered Speech and Language Therapist.
I share my life with my husband and our two grown up children, one of whom has had speech, language and communication difficulties. I have learnt much from my experience parenting him. The family passion for enabling effective communication is strong, my daughter is also a SLT.

When not working I enjoy walking my cockapoo Daisy, Aqua fit and yoga sessions, reading, cooking and baking, attending church and meeting up with friends.

I am honest, trustworthy and compassionate and known for my warm approach.
